forgive me I have not updated in a long while

Busy, busy, busy are we.  Holidays, work and school have taken all of our time and I have failed to update the blog.

J has been doing great in school. He has finished all of his kindergarten lessons and has moved up to 1st grade level!  I was impressed when I visited his school before Christmas break to see all of the things he has learned about music, art and history.  He can name and point out all of the continents on the map, not sure if I knew that in kindergarten or not?  He lost his first two teeth and he is growing up so fast.  I am excited and sad all in one.  He has such a kind heart and is loving towards everyone, makes me so proud.

                 

E's personality has begun to blossom.  He is talking more everyday.  He is an adventurous, head strong, funny little boy.  He is still my baby and loves to cuddle and take naps on Momma.  Hope this last a while longer.  He is a superhero at heart and thinks he can take on anything.  This scares me but I am also glad that he is independent.

       

                      

We have spent some wonderful moments with family over the holidays.  I am blessed and thankful to have such a close knit loving family so close to home.  That my family and my in-laws all get along and are one big family is the greatest blessing.

            

               

               

               

Fall fun

The weather is getting cooler and the boys can't wait for Halloween.  The boys got pumpkins from a birthday party we went to this weekend,  so we decided to do some painting.

Jackson has been working hard and doing so well at school.  He makes me proud how smart he his. He is a whiz at math and science.  He is also beginning to read.

This post was supposed to be It's a .......?  We went this morning for an ultrasound to find out whether little bean was a boy or girl.  But sadly, we found out today we lost our sweet baby.  I thank you all in advance for your prayers and kindness.  I have the most wonderful group of friends and family and I know how supportive you will be for us during this time.   Our little angel is now in the arms of the Lord.  I know my God is faithful and true, and he will see me through.

Fripp Island

Fripp Island is a favorite spot for us.  Quiet, peaceful and relaxing.  Nothing to do but stroll the beach and feed the deer.  

Once we arrived I realized I hadn't packed the camera.  Thankfully, we have cameras on our phones and managed to get some decent enough pictures to share.

There are deer all over the island.  They walk right up to you and are not afraid of people at all.

There is a playground on the island that the kids love and have fun at, but there are so many mosquito's we didn't stay there long.

For those who don't already know. We are expecting our 3rd child in March.  We are very excited.  J is as well he is requesting a baby that is 1/2 girl, 1/2 boy and 1/2 puppy!  I promise we will be working on his fractions soon. :)

Homeschool co-op

We are finishing up our first week of homeschooling and J had his first day of co-op school today.  I was so proud of him.  He walked right in with no tears, what a big boy.  Leaving, on the other hand, was a different issue.  He did not want to leave I had to pull him away from the building crying.  I could have gone the whole day without a tantrum but I am glad that he loves school and wants to go back.

            

I really need to repaint this door.  Dogs!!!!

Destin July 2012

We had a blast in Destin.  The time spent there was too short and we can not wait until we can go back again! J and E had so much fun playing in the ocean, I couldn't even get them to play in the sand with me.  

E played so hard he passed out easily.
